Laos, Vietnam tighten financial cooperation
Laos’ and Vietnam’s finance ministries recently signed a cooperation agreement for the period 2017-2020. The agreement was signed in Vientiane by Lao Ministry of Finance Office Head Mr Somboun Inthapatha and Deputy Director General of the International Cooperation Department of the Vietnam Finance Ministry Mr Ha Yui Tung. The event was witnessed by Lao Minister of Finance Mr Somdy Duangdy and Vietnam’s Finance Minister Mr Dinh Tien Dung. Under the agreement, the two ministries will create a comprehensive financial strategy for Laos and plans to implement it.
